PENSTOCK VALVE

VCTL – CHANNEL PENSTOCK

Channel penstock ensure tightness on all three sides (at the bottom and the two sides), thanks to the closing seal located on the penstock seat area. The standard design is embedded in a concrete channel and the sealing could be unidirectional or bidirectional. Used for on-off or control applications in open channels (3 sides)

Applications: Water and Waste Water

  • Welded construction design.
  • Special designs and adaptations according customers´ requirements.
  • Unidirectional or bidirectional versions.
  • Square or rectangular sliding channel gate.
  • Different mounting options: Embedded in concrete, wall mounted and mounted in existing channel.
  • The drives in the channel penstocks can be manual, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic, and are interchangeable.

PRESSURES The maximum working pressure is the height of the gate of the penstock. The fluid will overflow if water level is higher than the gate.
